MY World 2015

From 2002 to 2030

MY World 2030 continues from the highly successful MY World 2015 project which gathered and channeled the voice of almost ten million people.

The first MY World survey asked citizens all over the world to vote for the six out of 16 issues which are most important to them and their families – from better healthcare to clean water and sanitation, to freedom from discrimination. The results were then used in planning the post 2015 process and defining the Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals.

The first round of MY World survey demonstrated that international organizations, together with civil society can use data to feed people’s priorities into the heart of political processes. Key to its success was the role of Partners, over 1000 in all, who worked to bring  in votes from all countries and regions of the world, with over 80% of the votes being collected offline.
